In this assignment I was able to learn each tools needed to create boarders for me to color. I learned the idea of the paint bucket tool, color swatches, along with the live paint object selection. I was able to understand the general concept of live painting but seems hard with very complex images. I feel confident in my ability to paint an object in Illustrator. I did notice after pressing make with the Live paint button it deleted the outline of the elephant when I unselected the elephant.
For this assignment I was able to uplod the templates and use the needed tools in order to create the desired shapes. After I have the general template and outline, I was able to hit Select, Live Paint, and selected the sections I wanted to use. After that I was able to delete any lines outside of the squares in order to keep it in the boxes. Then I chose the color swatches and the live paint bucket tool. Then painted my little heart away!
I found an image of myself dressed as my clown character, Bucko, I opened it into illustrator and turned it into a rasterized image. I did that by clicking image trace and turned it into a vector. After that I changed the default preset into a 16 color preset. And that's how I did this beautiful image.
For this assignment I was able to use the mixture of tools I have used before with the twist of tools I just learned to use. I created a really awesome art piece using swatches of simple colors, Blue, Greens, and Purples. I was able to start off with one box, Copy and pasted that seven times vertically along with horizontally to create 49 squares. After that I used shapes such as, squaures, circles, spirals, arrows... to create cool designs within the boxes, after that I used the shape builder to make white strips in between each box and then live painted th colors in each little shape. I then refleted that vertically and horizontally.
Creating this infographic in Illustrator was a great hands on experience. I started by researching MrBeast’s income and net worth from different online sources, then gathered stats like his subscriber count and salary estimates. I focused on making the data easy to read by using clear font that matched his logo and a simple layout. Designing the timeline for his net worth growth was especially fun, it helped show how fast his career took off. I used bright colors and big numbers to make the info pop and draw attention to the key facts. Adding the text in Illustrator took some tweaking to get the spacing right, but it made the design feel more polished. Overall, I learned how to combine visuals and data in a creative way while using Illustrator tools like shape alignment, text wrapping, and layering. It really helped me improve my skills in organizing information visually and making content look clean and engaging.
